Bryan graduated from Stony Brook University in 2014, where he was a member of the Seawolves College World Series run in 2012. Bryan pitched throughout his time at Stony Brook and owned a 4-0 record with a 2.89 ERA, ranking 3rd in the conference in relief appearances and 6th in saves his senior season. In 2022 Bryan became a Member of the Stony Brook Athletics Hall of Fame for the 2012 CWS run. Prior to college, he was a 3 year letterwinner at South Windsor High School, an all-conference selection in both his junior and senior years. He batted .487 and led South Windsor to the Class LL State Semifinals. As a senior, he earned a spot on the 2009 All-Hartford Courant High School Baseball Team. After South Windsor High School, Bryan attended Avon Old Farms School and was a member of the Varsity Baseball team winning both Founders and Colonial League Championships in 2010. He received All Founders League Honors as a third-baseman. In 2010 he was a Rawlings Preseason Northeast All Region Second-Team selection and was ranked top 1,000 nationally according to Perfect Game USA. As a coach, Bryan has seen over 25 of his players move on to D1, D2, D3 and JUCO levels.
Trent Mayer graduated from Keene State College in 2023 where he was a 4-year member of the baseball team. During his time at Keene State Mayer was a scholar athlete being named to the Director of Athletics Honor Roll, and LEC All-Academic Team. Mayer played both first and third base appearing in over 50 games for the Owls, recording multiple hits and extra base hits in his tenure. Before attending Keene State College Trent played for Northport High School, he was named Athlete of the Year in 2019 and received a 2018 Golden Glove Award.
Zach LaGrasta joins the LI Huskies coaching staff after graduating from Commack High School leading the Cougars to a Suffolk County AA Championship, batting .400 his senior year. Zach continued his playing career attending Suffolk Community College as a middle infielder batting .351 with 22 RBI’s and 24 Runs scored. LaGrasta earned NJCAA All-Academic Honors while playing for the Sharks in 2022. LaGrasta is currently in his Junior Year at Marist College where he is a member of the club baseball team and a Dean’s List student.
Michael Sandarr joins the LI Huskies coaching staff after being a 4 Year player at Kellenberg Memorial High School. Sandarr is currently a pitcher at SUNY Canton entering his Sophmore season and member of the 2023 NAC Winter/Spring All Academic team. In his Freshman season Sandarr made 14 appearances in 21 innings of work. He also earned Relief Pitcher of the Year Honors.
Brendan graduated from Comsewogue High School in 2021. Brendan was a two year varsity player at Comsewogue High School and was the starting first baseman on the 2021 team that broke the schools 6 year playoff drought. Topper continued to lead the team to the Suffolk County Semi-Finals in 2021. Brendan’s Varsity season included a .274 batting average and fielding nearly perfect recording only 1 error in 23 games. Brendan then committed to Cazenovia College where he saw action in both his Freshman and Sophomore seasons. Topper transferred to Baruch College for his Junior year and is currently in his senior year for the Bearcats. .
Jamal Ritter joins the LI Huskies coaching staff. A former 4-Year standout at SUNY Old Westbury, Ritter was a leader in the outfield and held a career batting average of .339 with 11 HR’s, 130 Hits, and 54 stolen bases in his tenure with the Panthers. He was named to the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-Region Third Team in 2023. This past season as a graduate student Ritter played for Division 1 Norfolk State University where hit .275 with 9 HR’s, 59 hits, leading the team in stolen bases with 33. Jamal earned (CSC) Academic All-District Honors while attending Norfolk State University.
Brandon Tauber joins the LI Huskies coaching staff. Tauber will be going into his sophmore season at Ramapo College this Fall . In his Freshman season he hit .375 for the Roadrunners. Prior to starting his College Career he was a 2 year Varsity starter for East Meadow High School with a career .400 batting average and a 1.000 fielding pct in the outfield. He was an All-Conference and All-League Selection.
Jordan Sanabria joins the Huskies coaching staff. Sanabria had a stellar senior season in 2024 earning All-ECC First Team honors. He made 12 appearances while earning 11 starts with a record of 4-4, two complete game victories, and one shutout. In his Junior season he earned All-ECC Second Team honors with a 6-3 record recording 64 strikeouts in 73 innings pitched. Sanabria earned 13 career victories, 48 total appearances, 195 innings pitch, 175 strikeouts, and held opponents to a .248 batting average.
